More Studio Updates
Sooo...We spent 3 days in the studio with Al Fatz, Paul Wall and Perion. I'm so tired that I can't even think straight. 20 hours a day this week. I guess it's nothing when compared to the STRAIGHT FIRE that we're about to drop as LeBron's theme song.
Al Fatz got a dope hook, Paul dropped a hot 16, Perion has a fire beat. It's mad catchy. Can't wait to drop it, but first mixing then mastering.
This ain't the beat by the way, just a beat we were vibing to.

Wassup,
I'm still working out the kinks of a few deals. Suffice to say that the NBA/Sprite relationship is still strong. We're in NBA Street Homecourt now and I'm wrapping up deals for 2 more games this September.
We shot mad footage of EternallyBalln, Paul Wall, & al Fatz for H20: Hip-Hop on Demand last week. Big ups to Will, Alexis, & Noelle. We'll be using some beats in that program as well.
Look for us to get a final track out around the start of the NBA Playoffs.
LRMR (LeBron's marketing company) just shot over a note that said LeBron loves the track and we're good to go to mixing.
Lastly, the one consistent thing about haters is that they're overwhelmingly anonymous. Afraid to be seen as the person throwing around garbage when they don't have sh*t going on themselves.
My piece of advice...Don't take advice from damaged people or, don't listen to people that don't really matter - like this anonymous dude. It's not like you have a contract or are close to accomplishing something.

Whazzup folks! It's your man, Rip One, been away for a minute camping out in the studio working on some fire myself! I'm still on my grind until the wheels fall off, and when that happens I'll foot it from there lol. Just wanted to check in and see what's popping, got a show tonight in Cashville, a few of my artists are opening up for Crime Mob! So I'm doing final sound checks and mixdowns for the performances. IT'S OFFICIAL!!! "Mixtape Inc., The Movie" will be out on DVD May 22, 2007 at all major stores. I heard today that Wal-Mart just bought 13,000 copies to put in their store. You can get preorders at amazon.com and other internet stores as well. My cousin, Walter Bell, who is the director of the film just got done doing an interview for "Sister 2 Sister" magazine. There will be a MAJOR media blitz for the movie in the next few weeks, so be on the lookout. I have 5 beats in the score of the movie...Peace
